Tetbury

Situated on the site on an ancient hill fort, Tetbury is a small historic wool town in Gloucestershire with Royal connections. Highgrove, Prince Charles’ home, is based on the edge of the town.

Within the town there are two good schools, St Mary’s Primary and Sir William Romney Secondary – Westonbirt Independent School for girls is also not far away. The town also has a good selection of restaurants, cafes and interesting shops.

The woolsack race in May always attracts lots of visitors as well as nearby Westonbirt Arboretum, the most important and widely known arboretum in the country.
