Busy, busy, busy

Locally-based agent, Perry Bishop and Chambers has been encouraged by the increased activity seen during 2010. During May, the Faringdon office alone, agreed sales on 16 houses – that’s approximately one house sold every 2 days! Since the beginning of the year, the office has sold some 3 properties per week! And the good news is that the trend appears to be continuing throughout June.
Sarah Benson, director of the company and branch manager of the Faringdon office comments: “There are serious, motivated buyers in the market and throughout the year, due to the high demand, we have urgently required more properties within all price ranges across Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds and in particular three, four and five bedroom family homes. With the abolishment of Home Information Packs towards the end of May, we have now seen an increase in properties coming to the market, which is helping to satisfy the number of active buyers currently registered with us. But we need more!”
Perry Bishop and Chambers prides itself on being ‘The agent who keeps you informed’ whether you are buying or selling property and remains committed to professionally marketing your property. With the majority of buyers choosing newspaper and website advertising as the first port of all, the company can reassure potential sellers that it continues a high level of weekly advertising in local papers across the region as well as the constant update to it own website: perrybishop.co.uk and numerous other property portals, including Rightmove, Primelocation, Propertylive and FindaProperty.
Sarah continues: “We professionally promote your property through eye-catching sales particulars, ensuring the circulation of your property to buyers. In addition, we provide a text alert and email service, to ensure you are the first to know about new properties coming to the market, as well as using our local network of local offices across the Cotswolds to ensure maximum coverage. We have also trained our staff to provide an accompanied viewing service.”
