Residential Sales Celebrate One Year On!

The residential sales team at local estate agent, Perry Bishop and Chambers are celebrating their first anniversary! Based in Fountain Street, Nailsworth, the residential team was established last February to expand services the company could offer to both the sales and lettings markets. Since opening the sales department last year, the company has seen the office grow from strength to strength and has seen its market share grow across the region.
 
The residential sales team is headed up by Paul Audritt, Branch Manager, who lives in Nailsworth with his wife and young family. The rest of the team are all based in the area and bring a wealth of local knowledge to the team.   Paul comments: “We are pleased with the continuing success of the office and we are ready to continue moving forward in 2008. The market was particularly difficult at the end of 2007 but we are encouraged by the start in 2008. Last week, we achieved our best sales week since August and are looking forward to a steady market in the Spring.”

“It has been written that homes are taking an average of two months to sell, when priced correctly. Therefore presentation is the key to a sale and it is essential to maximise the price achieved. Simply put, de-clutter and tidy the house and finish off any outstanding jobs. You must also remember that the kerb appeal ie the view from the road is particularly important, as many prospective purchasers will initially view your property by driving by first. You may never get a second chance to make the first impression.”
