LOCATION As you will see the land is within walking distance of Cam's railway station and is just a 10 minute drive from junction 13 of the M5 motorway, leading to Cheltenham and Gloucester to the north and Bristol to the south.
Cam itself has facilities for everyday use and the centre of Dursley is about 2 miles from the site where there is a wide range of retail, commercial and leisure facilities. The town is also well served by both primary and secondary schools. Two of Gloucestershire's remaining grammar schools are to be found in Stroud which is about 6 miles away.
THE SITE This Greenfield site amounts to some 13.75 acres (5.58 hectares) directly fronting Box Road which is an adopted highway.
The land will form part of an overall major development project with area E1 immediately to the north being zoned for an office- campus style commercial development scheme. To the south is residential parcel H1 and whilst this is not being offered for sale at the present time, the vendors would consider some form of an agreement with the purchasers of H1 in its respect for future purchase.
TOWN & COUNTRY PLANNING Outline consent was granted by Stroud District Council for the overall scheme under consent number S.15/2804/OUT dated 21st December 2017 and phase H1 has consent for up to 137 dwellings of which 41 (30%) will be of affordable mixed tenure.
