Referral Fees

We have worked with a few carefully selected local solicitors for many years. Working together has resulted in shorter transaction times, a more seamless process during which we will communicate regularly with them to ensure the success of your sale, and has reduced cancellations. This is why we receive a referral fee from them which is typically between £100 and £150 per completed referral.

We also work with hand selected removal companies who we know deliver customer service which matches our aspirations and expectations to deliver you the most positive experience with your move. We have had many compliments from our customers who have engaged their services. We typically receive a referral fee of 5% of their fee to you with an average fee of £100.

Our mortgage partners pay us on average £300 per case.

Our local professional and well respected auction company and surveying company pay us on average 10% of their fee.

We receive c £15 per case from our EPC, Floorplan and Photography partner to cover our administration costs.

ID Checks

Please advise that we charge an admin fee of £25.00 for each individual and £40.00 for a joint purchase when purchasing from us which is payable on a non-refundable basis at the start of the transaction.

What type of information will we collect from you?

The personal information we collect from you will typically include the following:

  • Full name and contact details (including your contact number, emergency contact details, email and postal address).
  • Information relating to your identity where we are required by law to collect this, consisting of photographic ID, proof of address and which may also consist of special category personal data comprising your biometric identity and/or immigration documentation.

  • Your banking details where required such as where you are letting a property or, where renting, to set up an approved tenancy deposit account for you and arrange for rental payments.

  • Details about your areas of interest where we wish to send you marketing information about similar products and services.
  • Information providing evidence of proof of funds for the purchase of properties as required under anti money laundering regulations.
  • Usage information about your visits to our website (which enable our website to remember information about you and your preferences) and use of our site. Please read our ‘Cookie Policy’ below. This may include information about your visit, including the full Uniform Resource Locators (URL), clicks through to and from our site (including date and time), products you viewed or searched for, page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), and methods used to browse away from the page.

Where we need to collect personal data by law (for example to meet our obligations to prevent fraud and money laundering) or under the terms of a contract we have with you and you fail to provide that data when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract we have or are trying to enter into with you (for example, to provide you with our services). In this case, we may have to cancel a product or service you have with us but we will notify you if this is the case at the time.
