Lettings Negotiator – Full-time

We are looking to find a hard-working, positive and energetic Lettings Negotiator to join our great market leading team in Faringdon, Oxfordshire. This is a manager designate role which with training and support will lead to you running your own team in 12-18 months.
The role will be to continue the development of the Faringdon lettings business, currently run from a team in another office and now to be developed and grown locally. Initially you will value and list all properties, conduct viewings and agree the let, with support from the rest of the department but as business grows to develop a team for support.
Valuation and lettings experience useful but not essential as full support and training will be in place.
The right applicant will have high service levels and the ability to maintain and look after long term relationships. We are a brand that is well recognised and has a very good following. The successful candidate will also be an excellent communicator, team player, self-motivated and possess good IT skills.

We run a family style company where everyone is empowered and supported – the role is best suited to someone that has agency experience and is a competent and confident sales negotiator, manages their clients to a high standard enhancing our strong reputation but who also has some experience in carrying out listings.
Estate agency experience is essential.

How would you spend a ‘perfect day’ in the area? Perfect day in the area is walking in the countryside, so many options of where.

Where is your favourite pub or restaurant? A particular favourite is The Eliot Arms in South Cerney. Great food, lots of nooks and crannies to sit in and soak up the gorgeous atmosphere.
What do you love about the area? I love Cirencester and its vibe… there are so many fabulous independent shops to explore and always something to do and see.
What do you think is the best view in the area? There are so many to choose from, but Bourton-on-the-Water bridges are so lovely and probably the most iconic sights in the whole of the Cotswolds.
Where is the best place to relax in the area? I personally love to potter around the fab antique shop in the Market Place, it’s packed with an array of antique jewellery, Art Deco pieces, tea sets…I can lose myself in there for hours.
How would you spend the perfect day? Meeting my best friends, who can now come and stay with me over a weekend, walking to the pub for Sunday lunch and a good ole girlie catch up, over a glass or two, of vino.

What do you think is the best view in the area? At the top of the Painswick Beacon where you can see, on a clear day, as far as The Brecon Beacons and the Forest of Dean.
How would you spend a ‘perfect day’ in the area? Walking from my home, with the dog, through the Standish National Trust woods and ending up having lunch or dinner out.

A particular favourite is The Red Lion at Wainlodes just on the outskirts of Cheltenham. Great pub food and a fantastic riverside beer garden. Well worth a visit.
What do you love about the area?
I love the events that are on in Cheltenham. There is of course the famous Gold Cup but there are also lots of festivals throughout the year like the Literary Festival, Food & Drink, the Light Festival to name a few. Its great that so much is going on – there is something for everyone.
Where is the best place to relax in the area?
I love nothing more than grabbing a coffee and reading my book whilst watching the world go by. I particularly love O’Haras on St Georges Place. The best coffee in Cheltenham.
What do you think is the best view in the area?
Looking across the lake in Pittville Park towards the Pump Rooms. Doesn’t matter what time of the year it is, it’s beautiful.
How would you spend a ‘perfect day’ in the area?
Going for a walk with my dogs in the surrounding countryside followed by nice food with friends and family.
