I’ve lived here for eleven peaceful years, welcomed by locals and made solid friends for life. It is easy to access the towns of Faringdon and Wantage – Oxford and Swindon are around 30-40 minutes drive. The M4 is 30 minutes, and I can get to Heathrow in 90 minutes on a good day. This house has been perfect for me – all the amenities required, proximity to larger towns, cities … with excellent transport links further afield. But when I return home to this house, it is a sanctuary of peace and quiet – warm and economic to maintain.
