We have had an extremely happy 25 years living in this house but our jobs have changed so wish to relocate. There are school buses which depart from the end of May Tree Close to Sapperton Primary School, Cirencester Deer Park school and Cirencester College. The close has been safe for the children to play in as they grew up and the fields around have provided excellent opportunities for building camps and dens and taking a football goal to play with village friends. The play park is another village amenity for smaller children. The farm track was a great place to learn to cycle and also a good 5k running route in all weathers. The village is peaceful but friendly. There is an active social club for all to join in the village hall with a bar open two nights a week with opportunities to meet and chat with neighbours for a drink or even volunteer behind the bar. There are regular events such as a free to enter, light hearted, quiz once a month, party nights, cocktail evenings, wine tastings, gin tastings, a produce show, Boule competitions, Asado barbecue and an occasional more serious quiz. The village hall also hosts a Pilates class, mums and toddler group and shows films as a village cinema as well as a coffee and chat group. In May Tree Close there is a ceramics class. Cirencester College is a short bike ride away and has an excellent programme of evening classes. The walk into Cirencester through the fields takes 45 minutes avoiding the roads. There are plenty of great walks and village pubs in the vicinity.
