Where is your favourite pub or restaurant?
Floyd’s grill! Their food is absolutely amazing.
What do you love about the area?
I love being so close to open countryside, yet still being in a lively town. The walks around Faringdon are amazing.
Where is the best place to relax in the area?
My favourite place to relax is during a walk around Badbury Clump, it’s such a tranquil area and the scenery is stunning at any time of year!
What do you think is the best view in the area?
The view from the top of White Horse Hill, or any of the views around Badbury Clump!
How would you spend a ‘perfect day’ in the area?
My perfect day in the area would be a trip into town on a Saturday morning to visit some of the market stalls, followed by one of the many walks around the town and surrounding footpaths! Finished with a trip to Floyds for dinner and then up to the Gin to my Tonic bar for a drink!

Love the area for its lovely countryside and a variety beautiful villages to explore.

Relax with a lovely walk in Badbury Clump, particularly at bluebell time.

Best views have to be from Faringdon Folly, views over five county’s.
How would you spend a ‘perfect day’ in the area?
Perfect day would be a visit to Buscot Park, beautiful house, lake and grounds, picnic lunch in the park.

I enjoy a bubbling hot pizza, fresh from the pizza oven in The Kings Arms garden in Didmarton.
What do you love about the area?
The hustle and bustle of the Tetbury high street.

Westonbirt Arboretum. Always peaceful and beautiful at all times of the year, great for a restorative stroll.

The spire of St Mary’s church from the surrounding fields.

Sitting in a traditional deck chair in The Close Hotel gardens sipping coffee in the sunshine.

Waterside kitchen & bar offering amazing sushi & other international dishes, located in the heart of the cotswold water park.
What do you love about the area?
I love the peace and quiet the cotswolds offers, the picturesque villages & the weekly markets.

A nice walk along the bluebells at Badbury hill clump located near Faringdon.

“The devils chimney” a limestone rock formation located in Leckhampton offering amazing views of Leckhampton & Cheltenham.
How would you spend a ‘perfect day’ in the area?
The sun would be shining, I would start with a morning stroll around Badbury hill clump near Faringdon, I would then head over to the waterside kitchen and bar for lunch, followed by a game of grass court tennis at East Glos tennis club located in Cheltenham.

A walk around the Amphitheatre, lunch and some shopping in town followed by a show at Barn Theatre in the evening.

Lots to do , good social scene with lots of brewery’s & real ale pubs to visit, good area for shopping with a wide range of national & independent shops.

Pitville park is great for walks around the lakes & maybe stop at one of the cafes for a drink & a snack or ice cream.

has to be from leckhampton hill where on a good day you can see for miles & miles.
How would you spend a ‘perfect day’ in the area?
My perfect day would be a bus into town, breakfast at Spencer’s, followed by a bit of shopping, stop for lunch & a pint in one of the many pubs then maybe go to the pictures or a show at the town hall.

Accessibility eg. to Birmingham for shopping or the airport or Bristol for shopping or trains.

Pittville park.

From Cleeve Hill to Cheltenham and far.

An early morning walk through bluebell woods by Cleeve Hill, lunch in a Cotswold pub and a play at the Everyman theatre in the evening.

Where is your favourite pub or restaurant?
We are spoilt for choice in Cheltenham. The Tavern, run by Julian Dunkerton of Superdry fame, is great for lunch. The Daffodil is lovely for a special occasion and the Taproom at Deya Brewery has a great vibe if you’re meeting up with friends for a drink, they run live music nights too.
What do you love about the area?
Cheltenham offers everything that a small city does. Great place to bring up a family – good schools, parks and cultural activities. The annual Jazz Festival and world-renowned Literature festival are particular highlights. Also, brilliantly located – surrounded by beautiful Cotswolds countryside.
Where is the best place to relax in the area?
In the summer poolside at Cheltenham’s fantastic 1930s lido. In the winter months, the Wilson Art Gallery or enjoying a film at the Tivoli cinema.
What do you think is the best view in the area?
The views from the top of Leckhampton hill are second to none, stretching across the town to Cleeve Hill, Bredon Hill and the Malverns. Often people paraglide from the top when the conditions are right.
How would you spend a ‘perfect day’ in the area?
A walk along the Honeybourne line, coffee at Pittville Pumproom, lunch at Domains 16 restaurant in town, a mooch around the Suffolks, afternoon tea at The Ivy.

The Cricklade Club, 38 High St, Cricklade, SN6 6AY.
What do you love about the area?
The High Street has a variety of local shops and there is a recently refurbished leisure centre. Cricklade takes part in Britain in Bloom competition each year so the town always looks attractive.
Where is the best place to relax in the area?
Walking through North Meadow, especially in April where you can see the rare Snakeshead Fritillaries.
What do you think is the best view in the area?
From the top of St Sampson’s church you can see the whole town.
How would you spend a ‘perfect day’ in the area?
Walking my dog with my family through North Meadow and back to my parents for a roast dinner.

Great local amenities and open countryside close by.

Some lovely walks and parks in the area – I’m a keen golfer and there are a couple of super courses near by.
