Where is your favourite pub or restaurant? .My favourite restaurant to visit in Cirencester is the Thai Emerald – a Thai Green Curry with Coconut rice can’t be beaten!
What do you love about the area? I love that the Cotswolds is full of lots of independent shops and restaurants.
Where is the best place to relax in the area? In the winter, there’s no better way to relax than enjoying a glass of red wine next to the fire in The Fleece.
What do you think is the best view in the area? Visit any of the lakes in the Cotswold Water Park at either sunrise or sunset – the views are amazing!
How would you spend a ‘perfect day’ in the area? A walk around the shops in Cirencester, followed by a lovely lunch.

The Old Boathouse, South Cerney.
What do you love about the area?
Being a short walk from the lakes and the all the Nature Reserves.
Where is the best place to relax in the area?
Lunch and a spa treatment at Whatley Manor, Malmesbury.
What do you think is the best view in the area?
View looking down Black Jack Street or the view from the top of Cirencester Park down to Cecily Hill on a sunny day.
How would you spend a ‘perfect day’ in the area?
Shopping, lunching and a spa day with friends.

The Cricklade Club, 38 High St, Cricklade, SN6 6AY.
What do you love about the area?
The High Street has a variety of local shops and there is a recently refurbished Leisure Centre. Cricklade takes part in Britain in Bloom competition each year so the town always looks attractive.
Where is the best place to relax in the area?
Walking through North Meadow, especially in April where you can see the rare Snakeshead Fritillaries.
What do you think is the best view in the area?
From the top of St Sampson’s Church you can see the whole town.
How would you spend a ‘perfect day’ in the area?
Walking my dog with my family through North Meadow and back to my parents for a roast dinner.
