Dan is our Associate Director based in our Stroud office, bringing insight, consistency and a people-first approach to every stage of the property journey. For Dan, “Property Made Personal” means keeping people at the heart of decisions while applying rigour and expertise, and he believes the strength of the team lies in its culture of trust, accountability and shared ambition. Outside of work, he enjoys getting outdoors for a walk or catching up with friends over good food – though he admits he’s a bit of a property geek and is often browsing homes or keeping an eye on the local market. Something people may not know is that his warning label would read: may talk about property more than strictly necessary.

Sian Harris MARLA

Sian is our Managing Director of Lettings, leading the lettings division with a clear focus on compliance, consistency and delivering a service that genuinely supports both landlords and tenants. With extensive experience in the ever-evolving private rented sector, she ensures our processes are robust, our advice is current, and our clients feel confident and well looked after at every stage of the tenancy journey. Sian is passionate about raising standards, developing her team and making sure every property is managed with care and attention to detail. Outside of work, her perfect Sunday involves a long walk with her dogs followed by a proper pub roast with all the trimmings. She has an entirely irrational fear of moths and wishes she could play a musical instrument, maybe it’s time to finally learn!

Jeff Emmerson

Jeff is a Property Manager based in our Stroud office, overseeing lettings and ensuring landlords and tenants have a smooth and professional experience. Outside of work, he enjoys long walks, whether locally or further afield, and has always had a love of snow – from sledging as a child to skiing as an adult. His first job was as a windsurf and waterski instructor, and his childhood dream was to be a fighter jet pilot. Jeff’s first concert was Toyah when he was about 12, and he has the quirky habit of peeling labels off beer bottles.

Jamie Holmes

Jamie is our Board Man, travelling around the local area to put up property boards and helping keep our offices running smoothly with maintenance, odd jobs, and whatever else needs doing. Outside of work, he enjoys watching motorbike racing and has always dreamed of being a motorbike racer himself. He can’t start the day without a coffee, and he wishes he had the skills to produce music.

Kirsty is an Associate based in our Faringdon office, supporting clients at every stage of their property journey – from valuing homes through to completion. Outside of work, Kirsty is keeping active training for the London Landmarks Half Marathon with the Faringdon FarRunners, hitting the gym, and helping plan the local Folly Fest. When she has a quieter moment, she enjoys walking her energetic long-haired sausage dog, Slinky, and discovering new places to eat. On Wednesday nights you might even find her at the Swan in Faringdon winning the pub quiz.

Outside of work, he enjoys countryside walks with his wife and their dog, Margot, often finishing with a stop at a local pub for lunch or dinner. A lifelong football fan and devoted Chelsea supporter, he was rarely seen without a ball growing up and once dreamed of becoming a professional footballer.

In her spare time, she loves Ballroom and Latin dancing – she firmly believes music and dancing are good for the soul. Her childhood dream was to become a hairdresser, a goal she achieved before changing careers in her 50s, proving that anything is possible. Known for colour-coordinating her wardrobe to make outfit choices easier, Dawne appreciates that the team is made up of very different personalities who work brilliantly together, each bringing something unique to the table – making it, in her words, the best job ever.

Her first ever job was as a barista, and the first thing she does when she gets home is put the kettle on. Ben is an Associate Director based in our Cheltenham office, bringing energy, focus and a competitive edge to supporting clients through their property journeys. He thrives on being outdoors or involved in anything competitive – with golf and football high on the list – and if he’s not playing sport he’s likely watching it, fitting in a gym session, or heading out for a long walk. His ideal Sunday includes a round of golf, a well-earned pint afterwards, catching the football, and winding down on the sofa. What do you love about the area?  I love the Market Towns around the area and all the history that they hold – from charming old buildings and the independent shops to local traditions that give each town it own unique character.

Where is the best place to relax in the area?   Westonbirt Arboretum is perfect — peaceful, beautifully maintained, and a lovely place to unwind in nature all year round.

How would you spend a ‘perfect day’ in the area?   Catching up with friends over coffee or lunch at one of the many great pubs or restaurants in the area — there’s always somewhere cosy or full of character to enjoy good food and company.

What do you think is the best view in the area?  The magnificent views from Leckhampton Hill, looking out across Cheltenham and Gloucester — it’s a breathtaking panorama that really shows off the beauty of the area.

• Where is your favourite pub or restaurant ? My favourite pub is one near to home that I can walk to.   I live in Cheltenham so have the advantage of there being many good restaurants throughout the town, with a variety of different styles of food.

• What do you love about the area ?  Cheltenham and the Cotswolds has a wide variety of recreational and cultural amenities, including all sports, theatres, galleries and festivals, yet you are never far away from beautiful countryside.

• Where is the best place to relax in the area ? I relax at home or with friends, outside there is always somewhere to go, something to do or something to see.

• What do you think is the best view in the area ? For me, the view from Leckhampton Hill, over Charlton Kings and Leckhampton to the whole of Cheltenham and beyond. It is where I was born, grew up and have been fortunate to work in for nearly all of my career.

• How would you spend a ‘perfect day’ in the area ? A perfect day is a probably a game of golf in the early morning and a light lunch to follow, an afternoon in the garden and then a meal with friends in the evening.

Jayne Rowland-HIll

Jayne is an Accounts Assistant based in our Cirencester office, keeping the financial side of the business running smoothly and ensuring everything adds up behind the scenes. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, gardening, going for walks, and tackling jigsaws. Her go-to lunch is soup and a cob (for the uninitiated, that’s a bread roll where she comes from!). Her first ever job was a Saturday role on Leicester Market working on a salad stall, doing mental arithmetic without calculators or tills from 8am–5pm for the grand sum of £5 a day — an experience she loved and one that set her up well for a career in accounts. Away from the office, Karen keeps active at her local gym in Tetbury, where you’ll likely find her in a Zumba class she absolutely loves, or back on the badminton court after rediscovering the sport following a 15-year break. Her go-to lunch is a jacket potato with cheese, she’d describe herself as a Mojito – refreshing and full of zest – and her childhood dream was to be a rockstar. Her first gig was seeing Paul Young in Birmingham on her 16th birthday with her two best friends – friendships that have happily stood the test of time.

Outside of work, she loves spending time at her allotment growing a wide variety of flowers, often filling her home with freshly cut blooms she’s grown herself, and enjoys countryside walks with family and friends through the changing seasons. When she gets home, her first priority is feeding her two Siamese cats, Nellie and Bailey, and instead of comfort TV she prefers watching flower-growing tutorials online for inspiration. Kay believes what makes the Perry Bishop team special is that everyone works hard, gets on well and genuinely looks out for each other.

Leigh is a Lettings Coordinator based in our Stroud office, supporting landlords and tenants and keeping the lettings process running smoothly. Outside of work, she enjoys genealogy research, exploring the history of houses, and indulging her long-time fascination with the paranormal. Her first job was as a jeweller, and she’s currently overplaying Enjoy The Silence by Depeche Mode. A perfect day for Leigh includes plenty of sunshine, and she’s probably most often talking about genealogy. Her first concert was Simply Red, though her best live experience was seeing INXS.

Mandy Vernon Smith

Where is your favourite pub or restaurant ?
Couldn’t pin you down to one – I would say I adore The Weighbridge between Avening and Nailsworth for it’s famous 2-in-1 pies (half steak and mushroom and half cauliflower cheese with the best pastry top ever!!) I worked there as a teenager when it was the pub to go to- we all used to pile down there and be teenage drunk and disorderly and at Christmas you’d come back from Uni for Xmas break and wouldn’t be able to move in there it was so packed!! Now it’s a bit more of a restaurant -people travel from far and wide for a 2 in 1 but I still have a fierce loyalty to it as do most 40-60 year olds who grew up around the area I’d say.

You can’t beat The Old  Lodge or The Black Horse on Minch Common – very different – Lodge is more upmarket and black horse more of a traditional pub – but the views and sun set from the latter you can’t beat and being up on the common is very special – I spent yesterday at both with a walk in between!

Restaurants in Stroud – I love The Corner House – great food and cocktails – no view but you can kid yourself you’re in Bristol or London -nice atmosphere. And if you want friendly, great food with kids – the Italian Sorrentos every time!!

What do you love about the area?
I like the fact Stroud is a very individual and  independent town. Very eclectic really – everybody muddles along together – it’s very arty – mother earth spiritual types all mixed in with your horsey high society set and your common as muck plebs!!- I don’t think you can write it quite like that but do you get my meaning?!! – anybody goes – North Cotswolds I think can be a bit snooty – not Stroud  it welcomes one and all!! 

Where is the best place to relax in the area?
Well the common in Minch, Selsley or Rodborough on a sunny day or for a walk and a drink ( see question 1) Rococco Gardens in Painswick, Woodchester Mansion for walks. Nailsworth for a meander around the shops and for  coffee and  lunch 

What do you think is the best view in the area?
From my garden in Selsley West!!! – can’t beat it – tiny cottage but with best view and having worked as an estate agent for 16 years now- haven’t and wouldn’t move as a result!! But there are amazing views in every direction!

How would you spend a ‘perfect day’ in the area?
All of the above – walking, stopping and drinking in pubs whilst eating and taking in the views – and then perhaps treat myself to an outfit in Honey Trap and a mooch in Tonic, Domestic Science and Woodcock & Cavendish- perhaps finished off with a 2-in-1 Pie!!!!!!

PA to Philip Bishop Managing Director

Mary Walsh

Mary is PA to Phillip in our Cirencester office, but her role goes far beyond that – she’s everyone’s go-to for questions, support, and advice, helps new starters settle in, and keeps the team connected by planning socials and get-togethers. Her office is often busy with colleagues popping in for a chat, and she ensures everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Outside of work, Mary enjoys yoga, meditation, aquafit, country walks with family and friends, and spending time in the garden. Michelle Murphy

Michelle is an Associate Director – Sales Progression based in our Faringdon office, guiding agreed sales through to completion with care, experience and attention to detail. Outside of work, she enjoys going to football, reading, listening to music and travelling, and still keeps up with sports news the moment she gets home. A lifelong football fan, it’s been a passion since childhood, and her first job – secured with special permission from her school – was in a local bread shop at just 12 years old. Michelle’s first concert was the Bay City Rollers, adding to her love of music that continues today.

Neil Buck

Neil is the Assistant Manager of our Cheltenham office. With a wealth of experience and a keen eye for value, Neil is all about “a good house, at the right money” and prides himself on delivering honest, straightforward advice. A true car enthusiast, he has a passion for all things motor racing although most of his spare time is happily taken up with his two children. He can’t start the day without a double espresso, is currently overplaying Reckoner by Radiohead, and is well known in the office for his very distinct laugh.

Ollie Owen MNAEA

Ollie is a Customer Manager based in our Tetbury office, supporting clients throughout their property journey with a friendly and approachable style. Outside of work, he enjoys catching up with friends, binge watching a good series, and decorating his home – a hobby that links back to his childhood dream of being an interior designer. His go-to lunch is beans on toast – which he has had every day for the last two years! He ensures he keeps up with EastEnders so he can chat about it with Julie in the office.

Paula Hughes MARLA

Paula is a Client Manager based in our Stroud office, supporting landlords and tenants and keeping the lettings process moving smoothly from start to finish. In her spare time, she loves travelling and heading to music and comedy gigs, with her passion for live events sparked by attending Live Aid as her first concert. She’s steadily working her way through an impressive travel bucket list – with China, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, India and Russia already ticked off – and plenty more destinations still to explore. Any day is instantly improved with a full-volume sing-along, even if she admits she can’t quite hold a note (much to her colleagues’ amusement).

Paula Kister

Paula is our Customer Manager based in our Nailsworth office, helping clients throughout their property journey with care and attention. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her four grandchildren, aged 3–13, and taking her beloved cavapoo on walks, as well as indulging her love of holidays and cruises. Chocolate always makes her day, and something you might not know – as a child she was obsessed with her imaginary friend who lived at the bottom of the garden in an outhouse!

Phillip Bishop FNAEA

Phillip is the Managing Director based in our Cirencester office, leading the company and ensuring our clients receive a personalised, professional experience at every stage of their property journey. Outside of work, he enjoys Sunday brunch with friends followed by a walk with the dogs. Phillip’s first job was collecting eggs on a chicken farm, and he admits he wishes he had the skill of getting to the point faster! He’s often heard saying “on the radar” or “they have their tail up” at work, and currently can’t get enough of November Rain by Guns N’ Roses. At home, the first to greet him is usually his sausage dog, Molly – though his wife Laura comes a close second!

Property Manager

Pippa Harding

Pippa is a Property Manager based in our Cirencester office, overseeing repairs, maintenance and tenancy matters to ensure landlords and tenants are well looked after. Her go-to lunch is a toasted sandwich, and the first thing she does when she gets home is put her slippers on. She can’t start the day without coffee, is always up for a giggle, and says her most-used phrase at work is something we probably don’t want to know! Pippa would love to be able to play the piano, enjoys a Sunday roast in a warm country pub, and most appreciates the team spirit in the office.

Marketing Support

Robyn Niblett

Robyn supports our Marketing department, helping bring campaigns, events and communications together behind the scenes. In her free time, she loves heading out on days out with her partner and baby — the more family time the better. Aside from a classic paper round, her first proper job was working in a cinema, and she admits to having a habit of rewatching the same comfort TV series again and again. One of her favourite team memories so far is helping organise the ‘Glastonperry’ festival party to celebrate 25 years of Perry Bishop – especially witnessing the managers’ Spice Girls meets Gavin & Stacey performance and all the excitement behind the scenes.

Ruth Maskrey

Ruth is our Residential Operations Manager based in the Cheltenham office, keeping everything running efficiently and ensuring processes and people stay on track across the business. Outside of work, she enjoys spending Sundays with her family – whether that’s a relaxed day at home or heading off on a water-based adventure. She’s known for her logical approach and is always up for catching up with friends over a glass of wine. If you pass her car, you might also hear her belting out a tune – although the pitch may be questionable!

Sarah Benson

Where is your favourite pub or restaurant?
The food at the Old Crown Coaching Inn is amazing!  Travelling slightly further afield the White Hart at Fyfield has long been a favourite and never disappoints.

What do you love about the area?
I was born in Lechlade and moved to Faringdon aged 9 and am still here many decades later!  Faringdon is a quirky, unique community with so much to offer and Follyfest, a free festival with live music and fringe events held in July is a must and a great way to meet people.  I love walking into the town at weekends for a coffee and knowing that I will bump into so many people who are happy to stop for a friendly chat.  We are spoilt for choice for country walks from the town too.

Where is the best place to relax in the area?
My garden! (Except when the grass needs mowing!). I love a walk to the woodland around the Folly and to sit on a bench taking in the views or Badbury Hill (National Trust) provides a variety of longer walks and great views..

What do you think is the best view in the area?
We are lucky to have a choice of two – a climb to the top of Faringdon Folly gives such a great view over our historic town but also provides views of five different counties!  Then the view from the Uffington White Horse is an absolute must.  It is breathtaking.

How would you spend a ‘perfect day’ in the area? 
I would start with coffee from one of our independent coffee shops, (and most likely a cake!) before heading out for a walk into the countryside with my camera.

Shirley is a Senior Associate Director based in our Stroud Valleys office, bringing extensive experience, confidence and a personable approach to guiding clients through their property journeys. Outside of work, she still carries her childhood obsession with horses — now realised through having horses of her own. If her life were cast on screen, she’s convinced Meryl Streep would play her, and her current repeat song is “On My Way to You” by Cody Johnson.

Stephanie is our Assistant Manager based in our Cirencester office, supporting clients throughout their property journey with her approachable, people-focused style. After more than 20 years in retail, she followed her childhood ambition of becoming an estate agent, combining her love of working with people and helping them find the right place to call home. Outside of work, you’ll usually find her at the gym or out on a run, her go-to reset. When it’s time to relax, she turns to Gavin and Stacey, always. If she had to choose an entrance song, it would be either Return of the Mack by Mark Morrison or 500 Miles by The Proclaimers – very different, but both firmly up there for her.
