About Fairford

Fairford

The ancient market town of Fairford, situated on the River Coln, is dominated by the beautifully proportioned Late Perpendicular 'wool' church of St Mary with its pinnacled tower, magnificent stained medieval stained glass and a wealth of carvings in both wood and stone. The stained and painted glass in the windows ranks among the finest in England.

Fairford is also well known for its military air base and the Royal International Air Tattoo draws huge crowds to the town in July.

Fairford High Street is lined with 17th and 18th century stone houses, and along with the many inns - including the celebrated Bull Hotel - are a reminder of Fairford's importance as a coaching town.

What People Are Saying About Us

We were very impressed with the professionalism shown by all the members of staff here. We were guided through the selling process and kept fully informed at all times. Maggie Midgley was a tremendous support who boosted our spirits when we showed signs of flagging and who gave valuable advice. Leonie and Emily were also a pleasure to deal with. We really made the right choice by choosing Perry Bishop and Chambers. Many thanks to all of you
