Less frenetic market says Rightmove but one that still favours sellers, with 4th consecutive asking price record

Rightmove’s monthly House Price Index – just published – depicts a market that has calmed slightly but one in which prices are still on an upward trajectory, due primarily to lack of supply. The average price of property coming to market has hit a fourth consecutive record of £367,501, up by 2.1% monthly.

In the areas covered by Perry Bishop, Gloucestershire asking prices are up by 12.2% year-on-year, 14.2% in Wiltshire and 9.5% in Oxfordshire.
